Comedian Robert Schimmel was killed from injuries sustained in car accident in Phoenix last week.

The 60-year-old man was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by his 19-year-old daughter when she swerved her vehicle while avoiding another accident that occurred in front of her. As she swerved, she lost control of the vehicle that she was driving.

The man was pronounced dead and his daughter was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries but she is expected to recover. The comedian's 11-year-old son was also in the car, but he was uninjured in the accident.

Car accidents can happen when least expected and change the lives of all involved, our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim.
