Truck and car accident causes traffic to back up for hours

by Administrator 25. October 2010 06:33

An accident between a passenger vehicle and a fuel tanker caused traffic to be backed up for several hours on Fain Road.

The accident occurred as the frieght-liner fuel tank was traveling westbound when the car attempted to turn left on the roadway in front of the truck. The two vehicles then collided and the trailer of the truck struck the front of the other vehicle.

The truck was damaged and could not be moved from the intersection causing the roadway to be closed. The woman and man that were in the car were injured, but their injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
