by Administrator 6. April 2010 02:29

Police have identified a man who died after a three-car crash in north Phoenix Friday.

According to officials with the Phoenix police department, 42 year-old Eliseo Viramontes was killed in a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of 32nd Street and Greenway Road in North Phoenix, Friday afternoon. The crash left three other people injured, police said.

According to Phoenix Police Department spokesman, Sergeant Trent Crump, a 15 year-old boy, who was apparently driving with a learner's permit, was left in serious condition after the crash. Crump said the boy was driving a BMW sedan and failed to yield, striking a Dodge pickup truck that was pulling an empty horse trailer. A beer delivery truck was also involved in the accident, Crump said.

Phoenix police continue to investigate the accident. Authorities could not comment on the nature or extent of the victims' injuries.
