Golden Valley Man Killed in Car Accident

by Administrator 6. May 2009 07:39

A Golden Valley man was killed in a traffic accident this weekend on Highway 68 in Golden Valley.  The accident occurred Friday evening at 7:41 p.m. Rescue crews and the Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to a call about a two vehicle accident near milepost 21 on Highway 68, about six miles west of Kingman.

Eighteen-year-old Robert. A Andrews of Golden Valley was traveling eastbound in his Ford Expedition on Highway 68 when he made a left turn into the path of Brian J. Gregg, 50, who was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Gregg was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center. He died of his injuries later that evening. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is still investigating the accident, but confirmed that Gregg was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

It is unknown if either driver was impaired.
