Seven people were injured in a car accident on Interstate 90 in Phoenix on Monday that left a utility truck upside down hanging over the side of the freeway.

DPS officials say three vehicles were involved in the accident that occurred around 5:30 PM in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at 19th Avenue.  The cause of the accident has yet to be determined.

Video of the highway shows the truck hanging over the side of the Interstate, another vehicle upside down, and a third on its side in the roadway.

Two people, a woman in her thirties and a 45-year old man, were transported to nearby Phoenix hospitals with serious injuries.  Five others, ranging in age from 8 to 31-years old, were sent to hospitals with minor injuries.
