4 Injured in Phoenix Car Accident

Four people are in the hospital following a four-vehicle crash in north Phoenix Wednesday.


Jonathan Jacobs, a spokesperson for the Phoenix Fire Department, said emergency crews responded to a call of an accident near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Union Hills Drive shortly after 10:00 p.m Wednesday. Jacobs said the four-car wreck sent four people to nearby hospitals.


According to an official with the Phoenix Police Department, two victims were seriously injured in the accident. Two other people sustained minor injuries in the wreck.


Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
