Chicken and noddle products recalled after error on labels

by Administrator 8. March 2011 05:49

The USDA has announced that Cedarlanes Natural Food Inc., has recalled 1,050 pounds of chicken and noodle products. The products were misbranded because the mark of inspection from the USDA is not on them.

The recalled products include the 16-ounce trays of the "Wholesome Home Chicken and Noodles" that have the sell by date of 9/21/11. The products were distributed and sold in retail stores in California, Arizona and Texas. The distributor discovered the problem and informed officials. It was determined that the mark was dropped from the label as a printing error.
