by Administrator 26. July 2010 05:39

A case of mistaken identity after an emergency room error has left two families upset and confused. The incident occurred after a woman and her four friends were driving back to Phoenix after a trip to DisneyLand and they were involved in a rollover car accident.

The accident occurred after the tire in their car blew out causing the car to flip. The family of one of the women was told that their loved one had suffered serious injuries but she was at the hospital fighting for her life.

Later the family was informed that the hospital had made mistake and that the girl that was recovering was not their family member but one of her friends. The family is very upset and does not understand how the mistake happened. The family has made a statement that said that many mistakes were made which has made the tragic event even more horrific.

Hospital errors can cause serious injury and have traumatizing effects on all involved, our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims.
