Snow plow and car involved in Arizona accident

A snowplow and car were involved in an accident on Sunday on an Arizona freeway.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred just after 2 p.m. on State Route 87 near milepost 227 when the two vehicles collided somehow. When emergency crews arrived, the snowploy was on its side and the front end of it was on top of a sedan.

The accident blocked the roadway for quite some time and cause the road to be closed. Officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Details on whether anyone was injured or not are unknown at this time.

Seven people injured in Phoenix car accident

Seven people were injured in a car accident in Phoenix after the vehicles collided head on.

The accident on Sunday at the intersection of 32nd Street and Streetwater Avenue. Phoenix police and emergency crews responded to the scene to find that they had to extricate the passengers from the vehicle.

Two adults and five teenagers were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital to be treated. Police have said that all of the injuries are non-life threatening. Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.

U.S. comedian killed in car accident in Phoenix

Comedian Robert Schimmel was killed from injuries sustained in car accident in Phoenix last week.

The 60-year-old man was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by his 19-year-old daughter when she swerved her vehicle while avoiding another accident that occurred in front of her. As she swerved, she lost control of the vehicle that she was driving.

The man was pronounced dead and his daughter was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries but she is expected to recover. The comedian's 11-year-old son was also in the car, but he was uninjured in the accident.
