Seat Belt Safety

by Administrator 22. May 2009 03:04

Seat belts are meant to protect you in a crash. Whether the collision is slight or terrible, a seat belt should reduce the injuries sustained by the wearer. However, this is not always the case.

Some seat belts can be faulty either by design or by installation. When a faulty seat belt is used, it is no longer protective and can even cause worse injuries than would have otherwise occurred.

If you or someone you know has been injured by a faulty seat belt, contact the Phoenix personal injury attorneys of Haralson Miller Pitt Feldman & McAnally, PLC at 877-366-5557.

2 Injured in Highway 95 Accident

by Administrator 13. May 2009 05:42

Two people were released Friday from the Yuma Regional Medical Center after being treated for injuries suffered in a two-car accident that took place at Highway 95 and Avenue 7E.

At about 10 a.m one vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 95 and turned left onto Araby Road. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the vehicle then pulled into the path of a westbound car. The impact of the collision caused the turning car to roll over. Rural/Metro firefighters had to cut open the rolled vehicle to free the driver.

Neither of the drivers have been identified, due to the ongoing investigation. The driver of the vehicle that rolled over told accident investigators that he had been turning on a green arrow. While the driver of the westbound vehicle maintains that he had the green light. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
